Belmont University: Wedgewood Academic Center Parking Garage

About This Project

RBA served as the engineer of record on Belmont University’s Wedgewood Academic Center. The certified LEED Platinum structure consists of a below-grade, five-level parking garage and a five-level building above grade supported by the parking garage. The parking levels consist of two-way, post-tensioned slabs supported by concrete columns with drop panels. The parking garage measures at 159,560-square feet and contains 437 parking spaces. The proximity of the excavation area to the Pharmacy School had to be considered during blasting operations.
