Belmont University: Tall Residence Hall

About This Project

Tall Hall is a new 11-story dormitory building located on the Belmont University campus. The building is located on the east side of the existing residential quad adjacent to Thrailkill parking garage. The structure consists of two-way post tensioned 7”, 8”, and 9″ thick concrete slabs, 12” thick full-height concrete shear walls, and concrete columns. The residence hall is home to over 600 upperclassmen in a variety of different room types ranging from single resident suites to mutli-resident apartments. The building also houses a large student laundry facility and a work-out facility open to all Belmont students.
