25 May Sydney Reeder Awarded Ross Bryan Fellowship

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Sydney Reeder is the 2018-19 recipient of the Ross Bryan Associates Inc. Fellowship in Structural Engineering at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

“Sydney is a stellar student and great representative of the next generation of engineers,” said Elizabeth Surface, president of Ross Bryan Associates. “We look forward to seeing the positive impact she makes on the engineering industry.”

A native of Maryville, Tenn., Reeder is active in the UTK student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers, previously serving as recording secretary for the group. She received an Extraordinary Professional Promise Award at the recent Chancellor’s Honors banquet.

The Ross Bryan Associates Fellowship was established in 2008 and is awarded to UTK students pursuing a master’s degree in structural engineering.
